Position Overview:
Willow Oaks Travel, a trusted name in Group Travel, is seeking motivated and customer-focused Independent Travel Agents to join our team as 1099 contractors. As a Willow Oaks Travel Agent, you will combine your passion for travel with exceptional customer service to craft personalized vacation experiences. You will work remotely, with flexible hours, leveraging both traditional and modern booking methods to meet client needs.

This is a great opportunity for experienced travel professionals or individuals with a love for travel and an entrepreneurial spirit looking to build their own business under a supportive host agency.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to plan and book travel arrangements, including group trips, cruises, tours, flights, accommodations, and activities.

Provide expert travel advice, offering personalized itineraries based on client preferences, budgets, and schedules.

Utilize online and traditional booking platforms to secure competitive rates for clients.

Maintain excellent communication with clients from the planning phase through post-trip follow-up.

Research and stay informed about travel industry trends, promotions, and destinations.

Resolve travel-related issues, including itinerary changes, cancellations, or other unforeseen challenges.

Actively promote Willow Oaks Travel and generate leads to grow your client base.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a travel agent or strong knowledge of the travel industry preferred, however, we are willing to train motivated individuals. 

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Proficiency in using travel booking platforms and software, (preferred). 

Sales-driven mindset with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities.

Commitment to providing top-notch service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Compensation:
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Earnings are commission-based, with potential bonuses for top performers.
